GhostPractice Web opens in the Legal diary, giving you an overview of all matters assigned to you.
Navigation Menu
In the navigation menu, you have shortcuts that will navigate you to the following screens:
- To-Do tab: Shows all your tasks
- Matters tab: Shows the Matter-centric view
Client tab: Shows a list of all your clients
Legal Diary
When you click on the legal icon, you will be navigated to the main overview of your Legal Diary.
Filter Type
You can filter your matters by any of the filters in the menu, most commonly used include:
- Number
- Favourites
- Diary date
Court date
If you filter by Diary Date, select a date from the calendar, or choose today’s date. Click Done, then click Apply. This extracts the matter diarised for the specific due date you selected.
Filter Matter
If you filter by Fee Earner, you will see matters that are assigned to other Fee Earners in your department. To do this, click on the drop-down arrow and select the Fee Earners. Click Done, then click Apply. This will update your legal diary overview list.
Quick Filter
The filter icon opens a quick filter where you can filter matters by name, process, balance or other key words.
Remember always to clear out your quick filters to see all the files in your legal diary. |
Settings, Search and New Matter
The settings icon allows you to adjust the columns displayed in your legal diary. By clicking on the settings icon, you can add or remove columns as needed.
The search icon opens your global search. This allows you to search for matters across your system instead of just matters that are assigned to you as the owner of the file.
The New Matter button enables you to open new matters and clients.
