This article describes the fields in the Transaction History module.
Overview
This module allows users to check the transaction history of a file. As well as customise the selection of transactions that need to show.
Click on the Help button from the main toolbar to get assistance.

1. Transaction History Module – Tool bar
| # | Field | Description |
| 1 | Filters and Go | List of all the saved filters. Select the transaction filter to apply and click on the Go button. Only applicable if there are previously saved filters in your system. |
| 2 | Delete | Deletes the selected saved filter for all users. |
| 3 | Display | Display the transactions. Click on Display after any filter or selection changes has been made or to refresh the screen. |
| 4 | Export | Exports the transactions into Excel. |
| 5 | Preview | Gives a print preview of the transaction history in report format. Click on the arrow to change the preview type from Landscape to Portrait or Separate Ledgers. |
| 6 | Interest | Calculates the interest on a debtor. Click on the arrow for the option to recalculate all interest. |
| 7 | Settlement | Calculates the settlement amount on a debtor. |
| 8 | Matter view | Preconfigured filter options for the matter. |
| 9 | Prints the selected transaction. | |
| 10 | Allocate Unknown Trust | This option is available to allocate an unallocated trust transaction to a trust bank account. |
| 11 | Advanced Features | Depending on the transaction type selected, different advanced features will be available. |
2. Transaction History Module – Accounts Options and Filter Options

| 1 | Account Number | Enter the account number and click on the green arrow or enter. |
| 2 | Account Details | Account Details, like Legacy Reference, Client Name, and the linked Default Trust Bank, will display |
| 3 | Account Balances | Shows all the account balances. |
| 4 | Special Instructions | Shows special instructions. |
| 5 | Date Range | On the Filter Options Tab Select the date range. Current Period – all transactions for this financial month. Current Year – all transactions for this financial year. Custom – to enter a specific start and end date. |
| 6 | Accounting filters | All accounting transaction types. Tick the transactions to include in the display. |
| 7 | Non-Accounting filters | All non-accounting transaction types. Tick the transactions to include in the display. |
| 8 | Select All / Clear All | Click on Select All to tick all the transactions. Click on Clear All too clear all the ticks, or to untick all the transactions. |
| 9 | Balance Type Filters | Select a balance type filter to only see transactions that is either Business, Trust or Investment transaction type. |
3. Transaction History Module – Accounts History Screen
| 1 | Period | Financial period the selected transaction was posted in. |
| 2 | Post Date | Date of the transaction. |
| 3 | Narration | Narration of the transaction. |
| 4 | Attachments | Attachments to the transaction. |
| 5 | Reference | Reference of the transaction. |
| 6 | Type | Transaction type. |
| 7 | Advance Features | Advance Features for the selected transaction. |
| 8 | T/B | T for trust transaction and B for Business transaction. |
| 9 | Debit | Debit amount. |
| 10 | Credit | Credit amount. |
| 11 | Running Balance | Running balance of the transactions displayed. |
4. Transaction History Module – Requisitions Screen
This screen shows all the receipt and payment requisition on the file and the status of the requisitions.
5. Transaction History Module – Receipt Allocations Screen
This screen allows users to allocate receipts to invoices.
6. Transaction History Module – Milestones Screen
This screen allows users to manage and view their milestones.
7. Transaction History Module – Trust Banks
This screen shows all the trust bank accounts and the balance on that bank account.
