This article describes the Outlook Integration module within GhostPractice.
Overview
- Add-ins in Outlook allow seamless integration with GhostPractice.
- Emails can be saved to GhostPractice, Fees and File Notes can be captured to GhostPractice, and users can view the Transaction History without leaving Outlook.

Outlook integration – Saving an email to GhostPractice
- Select the email that needs to be saved to GhostPractice.
- Go to the Add-Ins option in Outlook.
- Click on the Save to GhostPractice option
- The confirmation pop-up screen will show
- After saving the Fees and File Note, a pop-up screen will show. Complete the Fee or File Note details and click OK.

- Click on Fees and File Notes to open the Fees screen.
- Complete the details and click on Ok to save.
Refer to our Fees and File Notes document for more information on posting fees and/or a file note. The Fee or File Note does not save an email and does not pertain to any email selected in Outlook. |
Outlook integration - Fees and File Notes
- Click on View Matter Transactions to open the Transaction History screen.
Enter or Search for the Matter ID and click on the green arrow.
The Transaction History in outlook provides the user with a complete history of all transactions that occurred on this matter.
